This is a 5.5 mile moderate hike to the top of one of Colorado’s limestone buttes, providing stunning views of Pikes Peak, Rampart Range, and the Palmer Divide.
Description: This is a 5.5 mile moderate hike to the top of one of Colorado’s rocky limestone buttes. From the trailhead we’ll wind our way to the top of the butte while ascending through a Colorado pine forest. This 600 ft. climb can be challenging but is definitely worth the effort. Here we’ll enjoy a shaded loop where we can take in the tranquility of the forest and the views of the surrounding area.
