Cancellation Policy

NEXT ASCENT, LLC
Cancellation & Refund Policy

Making a reservation ensures your space for your chosen adventure, location, date and time. Paying for your trip in full is our commitment from you that you will be participating in a scheduled adventure with us, and we hold that space(s) for you. If you fail to show up for your scheduled trip or cancel very close to the trip date, it is nearly impossible for us to schedule another group/participant in your place.

Please be aware that there are no refunds for no shows.

Planning adequate travel time is key. If you arrive late, your adventure may have already begun, and though we do our best to get you on the trip, in some cases the group could leave without you.

If a business or personal emergency occurs or you need to make adjustments to your reservation, you have the following options:

  • Make a Substitution
  • Transfer to a Different Adventure Date
  • Cancel Your Reservation

Substitution

If you are unable to attend a trip which you have paid for in full, you may substitute another person(s) into your reserved space(s) without penalty. Please notify us of the change via email and provide your friend with your reservation information, if possible.

Transfers

If you notify us of cancellation a minimum of 7 days prior to your trip date, you may transfer your payments to another available course/adventure date within 30 days without any fees.

Transfers made within 7 days of your scheduled trip will be considered a cancellation (see cancellation fees, below) as our goal is not to have to cancel an event for other guests at the last minute due to low attendance.

Cancellations

If you cancel your reservation before our 7-day deadline, we will refund your payment minus a 20% processing fee.

There are NO REFUNDS within 7 days of the trip date (but substitutions are allowed).

Next Ascent Adventures reserves the right to cancel any activity for safety reasons (weather forecast, water level, unsafe conditions, etc). No refunds will be given if these conditions arise, but a full credit will be issued and will be valid for a future activity within 90 days from the date of the originally scheduled event.

Next Ascent Adventures are priced based on full capacity. As such, we reserve the right to cancel any activity due to low registration within 24 hours of the scheduled date and time. If your trip is cancelled by Next Ascent Adventures due to low enrollment we will carry your payments forward in the form of a credit to be used on another adventure date with no penalties. A full refund may also be issued upon request.
