Next Ascent was born from the spirit of adventure and my passion to sustain a healthy, active lifestyle while enjoying the Colorado outdoors.

As an outdoor enthusiast, a fitness professional, a nutrition specialist and an educator, my goal is to enable you to achieve that healthy, active, and adventurous lifestyle you crave!

I believe wholeheartedly in the power of the outdoors and what it does for me both physically and mentally. I know with thousands of miles of trails, countless bodies of water, and so many mountains to climb it can be overwhelming and time consuming to navigate. I’ll take the guess work out of it...all you have to do is show up!

Next Ascent empowers you to achieve a healthy, active lifestyle while enjoying bespoke experiences in the Colorado outdoors.

Many of us find it difficult to find a consistent wellness routine. So often it becomes a chore instead of something we look forward to. We lose interest or fail to achieve our desired results. It’s time to break free from that cycle and discover a realistic approach to taking care of your body, mind and spirit. Adventures that leave you feeling strong, refreshed and exhilarated.

Being active in nature amplifies the positive impacts of fitness. It reduces stress and anxiety, promotes self-esteem, improves memory and focus as well as supports spiritual well-being. Next Ascent provides a variety of opportunities to keep you motivated through a sense of challenge and adventure in life. Let’s Take It Outside!

Active Adventures

Guided outings for those craving the physical, mental and social benefits of being active outdoors.  Whether discovering a new trail, paddling a scenic lake or summiting a fourteener, these excursions are designed for anyone interested in discovering the Colorado outdoors in an exciting new way. 

Fit for Adventure

Seeking an alternative to the traditional gym workout? Getting and staying in shape doesn’t require spending hours inside a gym. There is overwhelming evidence that exercising outdoors is better for you…both physically and mentally.

Next Ascent offers adventure fitness sessions in natural settings, utilizing native elements to provide fun, functional, effective workouts with a sense of  adventure. These are offered in small group settings on a regular basis.  Private, personal training is available for those wanting a one-on-one customized fitness program.

Young Adventurers

Providing opportunities for children, ages 8-14, to explore nature, and learn basic and fundamental information about the outdoors. These experiences will provide means to develop healthy physical fitness, boost creativity, develop social skills, and promote a life long love for nature. These are planned, guided, learning adventures held during days when school is not in session.
